Firefighter Griff Bradford craved a calmer life than Dallas had to offer. On the hunt for an escape, he learns of an opening in Rainwater, Texas. Having spent twelve years of his life there, he knew it was just what he was looking for. On a lark he applies and is stunned when he gets offered the job. What shocked him more was seeing his childhood sweetheart in town, looking pretty doggone good all grown up.
