This short piece follows a restoration artist who arrives in the Vatican to work on frescoes during renovations in the mid 1980s. While there has been mild controversy over the restoration of the famous ceiling that was done back then, little has been said about the other activities that took place in the walls of the holy city, and that may be continuing to this day.
