The pebbles of the concrete mind excavates the pearls of the expansive mind, if aware. Whatever state we happen to find ourselves, pebbles and pearls abound. Both states of mind are valuable, as are the bounties produced by each.

The Spirit is always available to us for consult, comfort, and direction. The poems of Plain and Simple are an effort to express the mystical Spirit in an elementary fashion because I often am elementary. The expansions and contractions of self often leave me in a concrete, contracted, limited mental state. It is thru this lens that Plain and Simple was written.
