This short volume is a theological commentary on the Old Testament books of Chronicles. As commentary written for the educated layperson, it assumes the reader will already have some familiarity the stories and literature of the Old Testament/Tanakh. This is a thematic and theological commentary on two books of the New Testament. It is at an intermediate level. Occasionally Greek is used but an English translation is always given.

It wishes to describe the Law of Deuteronomy as being a complete culture.
