Francis David: 19 books

I'm not really sure of a long description here, as I've really set it out in the short one. Suffice to say, I was sick to death of reading all the bullshit that goes with manuscripts - that they HAVE to be this and they HAVE to be that: don't use different fonts and don't play with the spacing and make a coherent story etc. So I set out to defy all that.

Letters to the editor of the Sunday Age that I have written over the period 2007 - 2015. Covering a wide range of interests, it gives a snap shot of Australia and, sometimes, the wider world over the past eight years.

First book in my new style, particlism. Written ten years ago, this novel was written in parts, one part to a day. Very short chapters, grouped into months of the year. Some sort of story hangs in it and some of my life as it was at the time. A kind of combined novel/memoir.

Number three in the Particlism Novel series. Mostly short chapters but a couple of old-fashioned, long form chapters in there as well. A man leaves his wife and family to live alone on the ocean and contemplates his life as a massive storm approaches. Or it could be about something else; you're free to make up your own mind on it.
