In the Throes of Progress is the fourth installment about the lives of Tyre and Phoenix. Their relationship is continually tested by the unexpected events in their lives as a married couple.

Tyre and Phoenix have moved to New England. They settle in and continually grow closer as they work to make their new house a home.

It is the fifth in a series about a young married couple named Tyre and Phoenix. He is a college professor and she is a librarian who spend a week in Boston and are visiting from Chicago. They will make further decisions about their career moves at the end of the book.

It is the third novella about Tyre and Phoenix, a college professor and librarian, respectively. I have worked in both of these fields, and I feel that this novel will entertain and enlighten those who try to balance the work world and romance! I currently live in Evanston, Illinois, which is a great place to think and write.

This story is a continuation of the lives of Phoenix and Trey, who now goes by his given name, Tyre. They get to know each other through dating in the Chicagoland area and a lot of spots are highlighted. They find that they are highly compatible and have a lot in common, until the relationship is tested by an unexpected handwritten letter to Tyre.
