A true story about little Bobby’s journeys with Jesus that he started talking about at just a little over two years old! In 1998 at thirteen months old, Bobby was diagnosed with a horrible childhood cancer, neuroblastoma.. We left our home in Akron, Ohio, and boarded a plane to Memphis Tennessee, to start treatment at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, where we spent eight-to-ten months out of a year for three years for treatment. We walked miles and miles thru those halls of St. Jude, where Bobby would often say, “Mommy, Jesus walks thru St. Jude all the time, and prays for all the kids and their mommy’s and daddy’s too!” Enjoy as I hope you too will feel the chills and ripples up and down your spine as Bobby describes heaven, his journeys, and his friendship with Jesus! Our Jesus has an awesome personality and a great sense of humor! Back at our home in Ohio, one morning, “Mommy!” Bobby said, “Jesus walked thru our house at night and he tracked dirt all over the floors! I told him, ‘Jesus, my mommy is going to be mad at you ’cuz you got the floors all dirty!’” “What did Jesus say, Bobby?” “He said, ‘Bobby will you clean it up!’ And mommy, I told him, ‘Oh, no! You made the mess you clean it up!’” “What did Jesus say after that, Bobby?” “Nothing, he just smiled and walked away.” “Oh,” Bobby said, “and Jesus needs his feet washed, they are so dirty, Mommy!”
