Schneider elevates his story telling prowess with his latest novel featuring the intriguing and enigmatic character of Jessie Carr. After breaking every rule to save his gravely injured wife from gunmen intent on killing her and him Jessie finds himself as the owner of a global security and protection firm. His first orders of business land him and his team from the streets of New York completing a contract for Executive Protection to the middle of the brewing conflict in Afghanistan. Jessie is caught in a balancing act between helping build his new business with the aid of his close friends and team mates Shelby and Carl and his romantic life with his wife Rachael and his growing affection for Cheryl………and others.
The world of Jessie Carr, again, takes us into dark places that are not for the faint of heart, a place where only a man with Jessie’s cold and calculating skills will win the day. Be prepared for twists and turns, gun fights and heavy passion. A true page turner.

Forward

In my many jobs, careers, and adventures I’ve done many unexpected thing but I would have never thought I’d be writing the forward to a novel. This is not only extraordinary for the most obvious reasons, (My vast knowledge of fiction sits mostly in the area of being a good liar) but in that fact that I do so for a novel written by my father.

I could write here how I’ve know my father all my life but well you get the picture…..of course I’ve known him, that’s what makes this so special. My father has been many wonderful things in my life, friend, teacher, confidant, fishing partner and now one of my favorite thriller authors.

The Jessie Carr series is a whirlwind experience of gunfire, haunted pasts and a strange but cathartic love for the idea that some things are just not all black and white, that this anti-hero and his friends step into a gap in the notion many of us have of justice. He does things that many of us are uncomfortable with, but somewhere deep down, when you close your eyes and think to yourself, believe needs doing.

As I’ve mentioned earlier I’ve had a speckled career ranging from many years in Law Enforcement, working as a Paramedic, Personal Protection Service, Security and any other way I could scrap together a few nickels so I can say from some point of professional observation that the Characters in this novel ring true in there thoughts, actions and demeanor. In many cases they do the things that only social idealisms have held the rest of us back from performing.

Reading these novels will give you a great fictitious ride, a little time to smile and think evil thoughts about the bad guys of the world, make you want to visit New Orleans (again) and if your not careful turn you onto a great new writer that I hope can entertain you for years to come.
