Birds on a Wire

Often we spend so much time searching outside ourselves for a life to live, we forget that the life worth living begins in our hearts. Three lifelong friends find themselves at a crossroads just prior to their senior year of high school. When one of the boys accidentally reveals a well-kept secret, the other two must find the courage to respond. 
 
Matt, Miguel and Jesse thought they knew each other. The final 72 hours before summer break prove them wrong. While Miguel’s whimsical actions put the trio’s friendship to its ultimate test, the boys wonder if it’s friendship or chance that binds them. Can their dreams take flight? Can they preserve the friendship they’ve built? 
 
“Birds on a Wire” explores the boundaries of traditional love and the role faith and courage must play. It takes the reader on a journey inside the passionate and self-doubting hearts of teenage boys and suggests what one might do to protect the ones he loves the most.
