Beyond the Vows

Mrs. Rowland was the mother of Richard and Rhoda. Each child got married and was faced with the challenges of marriage. Richard no longer felt attracted to his pregnant wife Rebecca. Rhoda saw no reason to go extra miles in pleasing Charles, her husband, she put her work first since only stipends were coming from Charles’ end. Both marriages would have hit the rocks if not for the unaddressed envelop they later found in their possession. It contained their mother’s last words and her principles for a successful marriage.
