A gripping page turner filled with . . . . . .

 **Suspense**Intrigue**Conspiracy**

**Divine Intervention**

Where was God when Buck's wife, Kate, desperately needed Him? Did He even exist? Lieutenant Buck Buchanon, Special Operations, had **more doubt than belief**.

***"What kind of God allows an innocent***
and kind person* ***like Kate to be killed?"**

Buck  was as tough as they come -- highly trained in covert ops, impatient, bull-headed and ferocious. Someone would be made to pay for her murder.

Buck was filled with anger --- angry that *Kate had believed in a God* that appeared to abandon her; frustrated that there were no clues to solve Kate's murder. And, to make matters even worse, Sheriff Whitcomb told him that his offer to help with the investigation was unwelcome.

Patience was not one of Buck's virtues. He couldn't wait for the Sheriff to solve the crime, and it was questionable if he even could.

Buck had no choice. Inaction was not his style . He was in control of his own destiny - or so he believed. He counted on his special military training, and on his finely tuned skills to accomplish even the toughest covert missions.  To depend on someone else to bring Kate's killer to justice was simply not an option.

Buck convinced his father, a former New York homicide detective, to follow his unorthodox scheme to help him uncover the murderer. Backed up by his former Sergeant, Chappie Devins, now an ordained minister, the murder investigation turned out to have dire complications for his father, and an *unexpected journey of FAITH** for *Buck.
