Now, Trebant is after Jericho, and he wanted nothing more than to destroy him, like he did his coven, to exact his revenge. Trebant has obviously found a way to make himself powerful in all the years that he lives in hiding. Jericho has to find a way to fight him and survive. Aislinn has to do something to help him. They have already discovered they can share each other's life force, but he will need so much to defeat Trebant! So, will the battle result in Aislinn giving up her own life?

WHEN CAMILLA HAD LEFT and the two were alone again, Jericho kissed his love deeply and picked her up off the floor. He carried her into the bedroom and laid her on the bed. “What about Darius?” she asked. “I gave him a sleeping draught to help his body heal. He won't wake up for hours.” “Good,” she said. “I don't know what it is, but I haven't been able to stop thinking about feeling you inside me ever since we released Darius from the wall and knew he'd be okay.” “Death and love are two sides of the same coin,” he explained between kisses on her neck and shoulders. “It's natural to seek comfort of the flesh after facing our own mortality.” “With all the danger around us right now, I'm going to really need you to comfort my flesh.” Aislinn smiled and felt relief at this momentary break from the fear and worry that had been plaguing their lives these last few days. The smile quickly faded into a soft gasp as Jericho's hand slid under her shirt to clasp her breast. Rolling the flesh delicately beneath her bra, he pinched at the nipple below the thin lacy fabric, sending a ripple of painful pleasure through her body. She pulled at her shirt, stripping it up over her head, and then reached behind her back to unclasp her bra. Jericho's mouth went immediately to her nipple, sucking and flicking at it with his tongue while massaging the flesh of her breast in his hand. Slowly he moved downwards....
