Benjamin Frock is dying, but that's not the problem. He got that part; but to die without first completing his latest work, a triptych of evolution, seems inconceivable. He makes a desperate wish for a twin to help him finish, and just as in life, magic occurs. But the strange doppelganger that is delivered to him has its own ideas about how to proceed. The end result is chaos and comedy that ensues. With a lively community of misfits and friends, and sometimes both, Ben embarks on a project of epic dimensions and discovers along the way that his greatest work was already completed.
Kevin Coughlin’s work continues, departing from his young adult historical novel Cabrillo, ( available at Amazon.com.) to offer an adult fairy, a delightful romp of the imagination. Kevin has worked as an actor, singer, director and raconteur while compiling a wide range of literary works. Last Night in Louisville , a play about Elvis and archetypes, was produced by The New Revolution Theater and Purging, a one act about romance, was aired on Public Television in two separate productions.
Mr. Coughlin lives in Sonoma County.
