Thank you for perusing this book, the sixth and final volume of my sexy sci-fi series. Around ten years ago, I wrote a short story based in a somewhat inverted distant and future society in which the spoken word is considered erotic, while intensely intimate touches may be little more than small talk. The tale received such positive feedback that I was encouraged to write more. Several further stories set in the same alien solar system soon sprung forth, leaving me with the unenviable but wholly rewarding task of stitching them together into a cogent whole. Ten years later and here I am, publishing the sixth and final part. What I'll do with my time now is anyone's guess, but sitting in the shadow of Whitby's famous whale bones and considering the distant horizon will certainly be up there.
To paraphrase the wonderful Ronny Scott: if you enjoy the reading half as much as I enjoyed the writing then I will have enjoyed myself twice as much as you. Thank you again.
I would love to know what you feel about my first person protagonists, Alex5, Cara, Hekal, Jane, Moon, Al, Hex, May, and especially Nina - I love that girl! After all this time in their almost exclusive company and despite their many flaws, they have become dear friends if not dear family. Forgive them as you would hopefully forgive yourself.
