Although Battle for the Mind is the first published book for this author it is only the next project in a long list for the accomplished playwright, composer and singer. As an instructor for singles, marriage and leadership seminars he has encountered many people who need guidance through times of suffering. This book is unique in that it deals with the root problem of such sufferings that go on in our society today. The root suffered is in the mind of man.
May God bless the reader thereof.
Born in the year 1944 in the town of York, SC, Stanley Choate was a son of a sharecropper during the time of segregation and he had to overcome many childhood struggles.
Having been married for 43 years, he and his lovely wife, Ruth, are the parents of three boys and two girls and are grandparents to sixteen grandchildren.
Stanley has been pastoring now for over 38 years and is the presiding Bishop over the New England Pentecostal Ministries.
He is also Founder of the Greater Awareness Bible College and Chair-Person of the New England Coalition for Racial Harmony.
