Wray’s family had always been different from that of her friends.  She lived with her uncle who loved to party, and a housekeeper who was nothing short of a drill sergeant.  Her life was anything but conventional, but when she meets her sexy neighbor, her life becomes unbelievable even to her.

Excerpt:

He had come to clean the pool and when he was finished, he stripped off his clothes and jumped right in.  Lap after lap Wray watched as he swam from one end of the pool to the other.  When he finally noticed her, the attraction was immediate and mutual.  He gave her a wicked grin, his sparkling blue eyes twinkling, and kissed her as he made his way out of the pool.  She groaned and giggled at each feather soft touch of his lips on her skin and ran her fingers through his short black hair.  Dedicated to his sport, he wore his hair nearly to his scalp, and she wondered if perhaps years in heavily chlorinated water had caused his hair to simply give up trying.  It was as sexy as hell on him, though, and Wray let her fingers ooze out over the back of his head.  He was fun, but it was Wray’s neighbor that got her hot.

Mr. Ashworth appeared to be in his late forties and looked like a movie star.  He was always dressed neatly in a pair of pressed trousers and a designer shirt that stretched over his muscular chest.  His often unruly shock of thick auburn hair was slicked back into submission, and his piercing blue eyes were shielded from the sunlight by a pair of steel rim shades.  She thought he was a normal man until the night she heard something odd.  There was movement beside his big pool and something stirring in the darkness.  Scrambling to the break in the hedge, she sat quietly, straining her eyes, and what she saw freaked her out.

At first she thought he was having sex with one of his beauties he would often bring home with him.  She squinted for a better look, thinking that she was going to see a really hot show.  It took a second or two for her to figure out that his head was at another guy’s throat, and there was nothing sexual about it.  The neck was ripped open, streamers of muscle and tendon splayed out like party decorations.  She didn’t remember the scream she let out because she passed out right there in the row of hedges.
