Are You There, Old Gods?

Kan is a blood mage of the six level who grew up without a strict adherence to dogma. Kan’s elders come from different beliefs, Sanguine being of the Risen Man and The Drinker is Pure. Kan explores her quest for the best path to gain the most power. Kan also confronts many other young blood mage issues, such as buying her first cilice, having her first spells crackle and blister on her skin, lust towards another girl who has developed spells earlier than other mages, desire for male flesh, and whether to destroy her enemies or turn them against one another. Will the Old Gods answer her prayers?
