Diagnosis can suck. You are given a name and very little solid information about what it is, what that means and most importantly what to do about it. This is a series of three books to do just that. The series is to be a blueprint to go from struggles to flourishing. This first volume is about diagnosis or suspicions about Aspergers that can alter your beliefs, emotions, experience and even your actual brain itself.
The book is divided into four:
Part 1 - The Brain; how ASD arises, what it means and what it does not mean. Understanding how the brain works as you use and encounter brain functioning makes life just easier and more controllable.
Part 2 - Emotions ; emotional and logical states of mind, empathy, stuck emotions and clearing out emotional baggage from the past that affects you now.
Part 3 -Beliefs; the power and role of the belief system. How beliefs influence and shape your life, how believes weave together, influence each other and determine your conscious behavior and how this can be altered by removing old beliefs and installing new more effective ones.
Part 4 – The self concepts. Everything comes together in the interlinking self-concepts such as self-talk, self-image, self-acceptance, self-esteem and finally self-confidence.
This book is a post diagnosis handbook to get out of any post diagnostic rut and provide some practical advice to make diagnosis useful and turn confusion into confidence.
Volume 1 subjects include:
•Genetics and Epigenetics
•Neuroplasticity
•The Social Brain
•Sensory Overload
•OCD
•ADHD
