Hey, Fearless Warriors. I was once fearless too. That was before almost getting kidnapped in a park. Police caught the guy in the act, so my own friends are bullying me now, thinking I'm melting down for attention before we start high school. I wish I were. Trust me, if I could stop my panic attacks dead, I would. My mom flies me off to Sunnybrook Farm 'cause the youth volunteers in their therapeutic riding program know a thing or two about standing up to bullies. I'm not a big fan of horses TBH. Dogs are more my thing. So, of course, when I find a stray pit-mix in the woods with a torn ear and bite wounds, I have to help it. However, it's not exactly friendly...yet. I believe I can win it over before animal control gets involved, though. But when my friends River, Joey, Devon, and I unearth dog bones with out-of-state dog tags, it hurls us into a race to unlock the mystery before more dogs end up the same. We highly suspect dog fighting, but Joey, a foster kid with his own traumatic past, and I are both already living with nightmares. The last thing we need is more heartbreak or danger from dog-killing criminals. But...we can't give up on dogs that need us. And we won't.
