When the Water Girl, Princess Zina, leaves her world under the sea and comes ashore as a human she is on a mission; to save the seas from pollution. She also wants to know Alice’s friends and learn about life on land. The adventures are about to begin. Zina finds that being a human is not easy and she has got much to learn. Her visits to Alice’s family prove this, but with Alice’s help she succeeds without raising suspicion. Zina gets her clothes by using magic and when she copies a designer dress, she is in serious trouble. When they met for the first time many moons ago, Alice rescued her as a tiny Water Girl and helped her back to the sea. As a thank you she gave Alice, a pearl which will grant her wishes. Alice must not make a wish, when there is a full moon, unless she really wants it. It is hard for Alice to remember the cycle of the moon, and she gives Simba, her cat, an unforgettable experience. Alice is invited by the Water People to take part in a dolphin race, but their enemy, the evil Dark Sea People, lurks in the sea where it is much darker and deeper. Their quest to find the Water People’s secret has failed, because of her, and now they seek revenge. The day ends with disastrous consequences for Alice.
