Alicante

The Mediterranean city of Alicante in fiesta is the backdrop to the story of Raúl Berbegal’s transition from obsessive sociopath to sexually deviant psychopath. In the end, a simple refusal was all it took, but it was the last of a lifetime’s worth. When he reaches his breaking point, it quickly becomes apparent that there is no going back. A murder carried out in a fit of pique soon becomes much more, as his enjoyment of the sadistic acts he carries out awaken the real monster inside. Raúl is slaying with apparent impunity, and it is down to Inspector Carlos Rico and his small team to interpret the symbols left at the crime scenes in order to end his horrific spree.
