As a traditional Islamic artist, my goal is to inspire and educate the readers if they want to understand religious art in general and specifically Islamic art. They need to understand and feel their spirit as how they felt and understand it. Knowing Islamic aesthetic was related to principles, so art works never expire and they are timeless, and those spatial essentials patterns can never be understood in a single glance or in a solitary moment even with a single sight. We must understand Islamic principles, system of faith and worship behind artistic patterns to be able to understand Islamic art’s mysticism or spirituality.
The impulse they must have in their religion is to worship God, and in their mystical path leads to the knowledge of God. The highest goal for tradition Islamic artists was freedom of own to connect with divinity. Then, Artists have transcended through art, and connecting with God. Their styles must represent divine beauty as a visual language that everyone can relate to.
