This book entails a wide variety of poems; poems depicting not only different stages of my life, but many different types of abuse. I think that anyone who was ever unpopular, anyone who suffered any type of mental, emotional, physical, sexual abuse, or even drug abuse should read these poems. I want them to know that not only are they not alone, but there are brighter days ahead. I beg of my readers not to keep secrets buried. Always share your pain with someone. Do not ever carry that burden alone. I tried for so many years to be someone that I wasnt. Someone who, I thought, was being cool, to disguise my pain. However, when we begin doing this, we bury ourselves and our problems deeper and deeper. I truly believe that this book will help many people realize that it is okay to come to turns with what they have locked away. When they do, they will open doors that they never knew existed, including the ones that they have closed up, locked and dead bolted to their heart.
