Ben is an interstate truck driver and during one of his routine trips away, a phone call at 3:22am turns his life into a nightmare. His wife cries to him that their ten months old baby has disappeared, that someone has kidnapped his child. But who in the world would go out into a small town to kidnap a truck driver's baby and why?
Ben rushes home to find that his wife has been detained by the police. The police informs Ben that all the evidences found were pointing back towards Kate herself. They suspect that her depression and mild psychosis had worsened resulting in Kate killing and disposing the baby in an unknown location.
Ben's world crumbles as he discovers for the first time in his life that Kate has depression and psychosis, and that she might have killed their only child.
When Ben visits Kate at the detention center, she denies everything and begs for Ben to continue looking for the mysterious abductor. Ben doesn't know who to believe anymore - his wife or the police. The police had all the evidences against Kate and it was all so convincing. Deep down inside however, Ben couldn't bring himself to believe that Kate would harm their child.
Ben decides to do his own investigation and discovers some flaws in the evidences. Kate might really not be the abductor after all. However, the police ignores his claims as the superintendent is convinced that Kate is responsible.
Ben must now do his own investigation to safe his baby. He is the remaining hope for his family and he must race with time to find the child before anything happens to him.
