In writing this book we wished to inspire and engage women to take a full and active role as Entrepreneurs, we show you how to set goals and manage those challenges and obstacles that come your way.

This E book looks in depth at the sucesssful entrepreneurs mindset, rather than their family connections and backgrounds. the Author Jo Owen has based the information and guidance on her work with enterperenurs of all ages and backgrounds.

This is an exert from our Chapter on Sustainability.

"As an entrepreneur we are going to suggest that you have a balanced approach and that you gradually change some of the things you do and replace them with things that are better for you.

We found that the two habits strategy is workable, not too unpleasant and achieves a more sustainable focus on health. e.g buying fruit to replace crisps.

I am also going to come off all mobile devices two hours before I go to bed, in order to provide a more peaceful and relaxing atmosphere for me to go to sleep. But I am going to purchase some books and I’m going to read a few pages before I go to bed, this is my slightly healthier habit.

This “swopping habits” technique works well as it only takes on average 14 days to establish a new habit.

In terms of becoming an entrepreneur one of the issues that comes up is that entrepreneurs commonly have a tendency to work very long hours, it is not unusual in the start-up to a business to work 70 hours a week. However this is very difficult to sustain and could lead to long term health issues.

Time management is a real issue for an entrepreneur and often the longer you are working (without noticing), you become less and less effective; this is been shown on repeated studies from eminent researchers such as NASA where despite people believing they were working at 100% effectiveness. During those long extended hours, predictably what they managed to achieve decreased and the errors percentage increase exponentially."
