A Waltz with Aphrodite

Sara does not tolerate, forgive or excuse adultery. So, when Demir cheated on her during the second year of their marriage, Sara’s only choice was to leave him. She would have removed him from her life completely if she didn’t discover she was pregnant with triples. Unable to keep her children away from their father and paternal family, Sara once again faced only one choice – to keep Demir in her life.

Sara and Demir met in Turkey. She was a refugee form Bosnia and he was a famous businessman, nation’s pride and joy. After Demir’s affair, Sara returned to Bosnia, where she had their daughter’s: Nadia, Leila and Sofia.

Years went by. Both sides continued to respect one another, crating an idyllic life despite the circumstances. Demir proved to be a perfect father.

As the time approached to tell the girls why the divorce happened, Demir informed Sara that he didn’t sign the divorce papers, hence, their divorce was never finalised. His excuse was that he loved her too much.

At first, Sara felt an explosion of emotions. All the feelings she buried fourteen years earlier came back to life. This emotional wreckage forced her to look at love like she had never done before.

While Nadia, Leila and Sofia are in Turkey with their father, Sara goes on holiday with her best friend Maida. They have two objectives: find a beach to relax and sort through Sara’s debris of feelings.

This was to change when Demir’s former lover re-appeared and Sara meets a new man in Italy. Still worried about her daughters and how the new man will affect them, Sara is determined to make the relationship work. However, fate had another surprise in store for her; an event that shook everyone involved to their core. No longer able to push ahead, Sara looks back, looks deep inside, and gets to know love better than she’s ever done before.
