In this life, we must eat and drink to stay alive. We have in different areas of the world some more than others: snow, rain and wind, sunshine, and cool days for the harvest. These seasons all interact to bring forth food with the help of the farmers. So whatever season you go through, let it produce. We all know the adage When life gives you lemons, make lemonade. Who doesnt love seventy-degree weather in the winter? But we need the cold to ward off germs. So know that every season has its ups and downs; just prepare for the ride with coats and snow boots, umbrellas and rain boots, shorts and a T-shirt, sunscreen, a sweater. So depending on where you live, gear up. We cant stop the seasons, but we can put on our gear. I love the season of rest as any crop has to sit still for a while, so be still and know that God is good. Ephesians 6:1018 tells us to put on the whole armor of God as Christians. We are combating spiritual forces versus seasonal forces. The armor is used interchangeably, but we need it on at all times so that we will be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. And as you can see, God has our back.
