Low Back Pain (LBP) is the Number One cause of activity limitation and absence from work worldwide. Medications play a significant role in reducing LBP. However, they can produce irritation of the stomach and intestines, resulting in several diseases. In many cases, back operation is not successful and frequently leaves the patient worse than before. Through many years of experience and working with patients suffering from LBP, it is currently clear to me that exercise has the potential to be the most beneficial intervention. Exercise is safe for individuals with back pain because it does not increase the risk of future back injuries or work absence. Many studies proved that exercise can lessen back pain syndromes. It should be noted that reverting to normal activities is more effective than prolonged bed rest intended for treating acute LBP. The content of this book offers much useful information for the optimal exercises when it comes to managing and preventing LBP.
