Why, Clouds? Every day my daughter was in intensive care connected to life supportmore than seven weeksI looked up to the sky. Each day, my creator paints a different picture across the heavens just for me, I thought. Through teary and tired eyes, I saw hope through his canvas. His ever-changing cascade of cloudswords set to picturesque sceneryoffered me something to hold on to. I started daily tweets after her miraculous recovery, offering hope to others each day, when it seems in short supply. Prayer changes things. I used to always hear this phrase at the church where I grew up, Have faith. I used to hear my grandmother and aunts say this all the time. Ive come to embrace the old cultural ways because they were right for me. They were the goodness of a loving God handed down through the generations. Believe me, prayer does change things. Having faith does make a difference.
