A Little Larceny

Janis arrives for work on Monday morning with a problem. Her married lover dropped dead, unexpectectly, as he got out of bed and for several compelling reasons--some of which she doesn't mention--she cannot have his corpse found on her bedroom floor. "Please, move him," she pleads tearfully with Bennett, her co-worker. Bennett, cautious and law-abiding, struggles between reporting the death and helping a friend in a desperate situation. His decision is the start of a series of life-changing events that could leave him and Janis either very rich or dead.
