This is a new edition of a book that I wrote four years ago after completing a two year colour course with Mark Wentworth of Colour for Life. This is the result of a project I did at the end of the course, where I asked my colour allies or guides, to give me information about each of the nine colours we were working with. I began by doing a painting for each colour, and as I did so, I tried to connect to and feel the energy of each particular colour vibration. During this process I tried to forget about my own ideas or things that I had read in books, and see if I could learn something new from whatever it was my allies had to tell me. This was at times surprising and altogether very enjoyable. Many things have changed in my life since then, but the essence of the colour vibrations remains the same. Whilst travelling in Guatemala earlier this year, I was given the spiritual name Ixchel. She is a Mayan Goddess of the moon. So now when I work in an inspired way, I call on Ixchel, who I consider to be an aspect of my higher self.
