I first want to say this is dedicated to people that have been abused. I wanted to write a little about my experience. I was abused when I was younger. I was mentally abused. I was abused by a boyfriend at that time. I broke up with him of course. It took some courage. Somehow I got through it. He would say a lot of hurtful things. For instance he would say that nobody would like me. That nobody would ever love me and I couldn’t go anywhere without him. I of course had known that this was wrong. This guy was always on drugs. The last straw was when I was with him. He wanted me to do stuff that was illegal. I said no. I left and I have never looked back. I know that October is abuse awareness month. If a person feels in danger. Please call for help. I have a phone number that you can call for help. US Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-7233 and TTY 1-800-787-3224.
