Allan and his twin sister Bell were watching the television when Grandpa asked if they should do some fishing. At home with Denny and Douglas, the feeling went both ways when they watched the TV. The stones they had stolen were valued to over a million dollar, but the TV told them that they were all photographed, and the thieves would not be able to fence them. "What in all hell can we do with the stones. They are useless, we may as well throw them away." The two decided to throw the sparkles in the small lake of state-road 60. When they came to the lake, Denny threw the bag with stones into the water, and they both could see it sink. "Now, how are we going to get the money we need?" "Let's do a bank job." The bank robbery gave them six thousand, that would keep them for a few months. The weather had turned dry, and house-owners were not allowed to water their lawns. Sitting at home Allan looked at Grandpa and said let's do it. Coming down to the lake that had turned green with algae, and the water level was very low. "Look there!" shouted Allan, "there is something in the water." Grandpa looked and asked if Allan had brought the long net. "Yeah, it is in the car." Pulling the bag out of the water, they were both surprised to see all the gems. "Could this be the stolen gems we heard on the TV," asked Allan as Grandpa took the bag and the two drove home. It was the stolen jewelry, and Allan's father received a finders fee check for over a hundred thousand. The two thieves Denny and Douglas thought that the money belonged to them. And to get it back they kidnapped Allan, but with help from Bell, his sister, the day was saved.
