Dahl finds their paths have crossed in World War 2 France when he orchestrated a raid on her family home.
Found to be a collaborator with the Allies and facing certain death, Yvette in a struggle hit him with a poker that cost him his right eye. She escaped his clutches then, but this time it’s different. He abducts and incarcerates Yvette. Her future looks bleak until she smuggles a message out.
