A Britz campervan for two weeks, blue skies above, plus the freedom of the open road! Mix in road trips in one of our favourite destinations, South Australia and we have the ingredients for an interesting campervan holiday. Add in the flexibility of destinations and venue choices and we were on a sure fire winner.

The journey starts by flying from Cairns QLD to Adelaide SA, there we would pick up our Britz campervan and drive around in SA for two weeks before flying back to Cairns. We had been to Adelaide previously in 2002 with our Ford Falcon sedan, towing our Jayco Eagle caravan. This time we wanted to explore new territory; with a visit to the Eyre Peninsula and then a visit to the Barossa Valley, a world famous wine producing area. Hiring a campervan would be the ideal way to do this as we would not have to pre-book any accommodation. We could go wherever we chose and even free camp if we so desired.

Have we whetted your appetite? Come along and enjoy the ride.
