This semi-fictional novel is based on facts with the author’s interpretations of how some of the events mayhave unfolded. Factual sources included documented records and interviews with the surviving children of Ed Ryerson, who was born in Port Dover Canada in 1878, and left to England at the age of 20 to join the Boer War effort.

His story is one of survival and determination to make a difference, and be different at the same time. The story is told through the eyes of his son, Tom, during the depression years while living in Hamilton, Canada. Wm. Edwy Ryerson, a life and an adventure worth remembering.
