From the Author:

For years, I have been organizing and holding events of various kinds.  Some were for friends, some were for charities and community causes, and some were just for fun.   There are secrets to creating the perfect event that I share in this book.  If I had to name the top three, I would say:  organization, communication and follow-through (yes I know you thought I would give you a third rhyming word but find-the-best-location-and-avoid-frustration was too long).

If you follow the steps outlined in this book, you will find that creating the perfect event is not as difficult as you thought.   If your event involves charities and you need to talk to sponsors about donations, then you need to read Steps 11and 12 carefully.

Some of these steps may seem redundant and even silly, but once you have produced your first event, you will understand why they are included.  You will be glad you followed them (or miserable that you ignored them).

bAnd lastly, have fun.  You are creating an occasion for people to get together to celebrate, honor or otherwise enjoy themselves.   So enjoy yourself too!   You can be organized and still have a good time.
